From LMS to L’Oreal: My Internship Experience

This internship did in some ways help to assist my career goals. I came to LMS interviewing for a position as a marketing coordinator but ultimately became a summer intern. Although my beginning position did not lead to what I originally expected, I learned so much over the span of a few months about brand management and working with social influencers. With my future career, I am able to take what I learned during my internship at LMS, which included marketing and working with brands, to my new job working at L’Oreal.

The team dynamic is COLLABORATIVE! Everything LMS does would not be possible if it were not for the way the team works together to achieve their goals.

Some highlights of my internship included being able to interact with the various social influencers I sourced for Wilde, Lola, and Runa, as well as coming up with activation ideas that were chosen for the Chicago launch of Sweetgreen.

I was able to take initiative beyond my original internship parameters by being able to assist Lauren in communicating with the social influencers, which was a fun addition to my responsibilities.
